I live in a place
Just a little house in a simple town
A little fire in the stove burning down
With embers glowing
I’ve got everything
A donkey and some cows
A river running by
Just behind the house, me and my guitar
And chickens running around
All around the yard
There’s fruit and flowers on the trees
And in this heart inside of me
There’s a love for someone growing
Beautiful life
Oh, oh, oh beautiful life
Bullfrogs jumping in the water
On the way to my countryside
Beautiful life
Oh, oh, oh beautiful life
Bullfrogs stepping in the water
On the way to my countryside
Every now and then
I head into town
Stock upon somethings
When they are running down
Coffee, bread and wine
And nice cachaça
Then, back home I go
Stirring out the dust
On the dust road
And any sadness that I once used to know
Never comes past the gate inside
Galloping I go down to a bend in the road
There’s someone waiting there, I know
I call my babe, she’s my babe
Beautiful life
Oh, oh beautiful life
Bullfrogs stepping in the water
On the way to my countryside
Beautiful life
Oh, it’s a beautiful life
Bullfrogs stepping in the water
On the way to my countryside
Beautiful life
Oh, it’s a beautiful life
Bullfrogs jumping in the water
On the way to my countryside
Beautiful life
Oh, it’s a beautiful life
Bullfrogs are jumping in the water
On the way to my countryside
